62d session of the African Commission: joint oral declaration on ESCR in Mauritania

On 28 April 2018, Human Dignity and the Mauritanian Association of Human Rights delivered a joint oral declaration on the ESCR situation in Mauritania during the 62d session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights.

The declaration highlights the obstacles to the progressive realisation of the rights to education and health in Mauritania. It also recommends measures for the State to fulfill its obligations pursuant to Articles 16 and 17 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples Rights.
