Kenya: Joint CSO statement and activities at 57th session of the CESCR
From 22 to 26 February 2016, Human Dignity and its Kenyan partners participate to the 57th session of the Committee on economic, social and cultural rights in Geneva, Switzerland.
Our organisations made a public statement at the opening of the session on 22 February.
A lunch briefing was also organised on the 24th ahead of the review of Kenya's periodic report. It provided an opportunity for Kenyan CSOs to highlight our concerns in relation to the implementation of the International Covenant on economic, social and cultural rights and to reply to questions of the Committee's members.
