The CESCR concludes its 52d session

During its 52d session (28 April-23 May 2014) the CESCR reviewed the implementation of the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural rights in and adopted Concluding Observations on Armenia, China, including the Special Autonomous Regions of Hong Kong and Macao, Czech Republic, El Salvador (in Spanish), Indonesia, Lithuania, Monaco Serbia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

List of issues, identifying in advance the questions that will constitute the principal focus of the CESCR's dialogue with the representatives of the following States have been adopted during the CESCR 53rd Pre-Sessional Working Group (26 May 2014 - 30 May 2014):


Information about the next session of the CESCR: 10 to 28 November 2014, Geneva, Switzerland 

The CESCR will meet in Geneva to consider the reports of Finland, Guatemala, Montenegro, Nepal, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia and Viet Nam.

Deadline for submission of parallel reports by NGOs and NHRIs is a month and a half before the session

Information should be transmitted to the CESCR Secretariat electronically, and thereafter in 20 paper copies for the session by mail.

 

Information about the next pre-sessional working group of the CESCR: 1 to 5 December 2014, Geneva/Switzerland 

Lists of issues will be adopted on : ChileIrelandKyrgyzstanMongoliaSudanThailandUganda and Venezuela.

Deadline for submission of information is two months before the session.

Information should be transmitted to the CESCR Secretariat electronically, and thereafter in 7 paper copies for the pre-sessional working group by mail.
