The rights to water and sanitation in 10 countries of West and Central Africa

DEA

The Water Coalition, of which Human Dignity is a member, publishes an inventory report on the recognition and integration of human rights to water and sanitation in 10 African countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Guinea, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Senegal, Chad, and Togo).

The report is available here.

This study is part of Water Coalition support to the Alliance of Francophone Africa for Water and Sanitation (AAFEA). The Water Coalition is the collective of French NGOs in the water and sanitation sector, which works to promote the human rights to water and sanitation and water for the common good. The Water Coalition missions are to advocate with decision-makers and to strengthen civil society in the sector.

A webinar will be organized during the second half of 2021 to present the report and facilitate its integration and use by the AAFEA collectives.
