The right to social protection put to the test by the COVID-19 crisis: the importance of non-contributory social protection systems to protect the informal sector in sub-Saharan Africa Human Dignity and the Platform for Economic, Social and Cultural Rights in Africa publish a report analysing social protection systems in 6 countries in sub-Saharan Africa: Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire, Gabon, DRC , Senegal and Togo.
