Kenya: Joint submission to the Committee on economic, social and cultural rights

From 12 to 16 October 2015, the pre sessional working Group of the Committee will prepare and adopt a List of Issues ahead of its review of Kenya's combined 2nd to 5th periodic report.
Save The Children Kenya, Supporting Access to Justice for Children and Youth in East Africa (SAJCEA) and the Economic and Social Rights Centre (Hakijamii), the Kenyan Section of International Commission of Jurists (ICJ-Kenya) and Human Dignity made a joint submission to the UN Committee on economic, social and cultural rights to contribute to the Committee’s preparation of its List of Issues.
In this submission, our organisations bring to the attention of the Committee to the implementation of articles 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the International Covenant on Economic Social and Cultural Rights by the State of Kenya.
